Untitled Rogue-(very)-Lite-Platformer
Made for the Stop Waiting for Godot jam.
The “roguelite” part of this game isn't really finished. There are only 5 rooms, which are randomized, but they don't feel very random because there are so few. It's also really easy to beat, so the whole perma-death part doesn't feel very important.
There is a double-jump powerup in the first room, but it's not very clear that you have it because it was one of the last things I added before submitting.
I'm pretty happy with what I accomplished though, it has a lot more features than I managed to get into my first Godot game a few weeks ago and I spent a similar amount of time on both of them.
Controls
Movement/Jump: Arrow keys
Shoot: Space

The description may require a minor correction being that Space is for shooting rather than jumping
The game in itself definitely works so far, though the character’s speedy jumping makes it hard to aim mid-air and it is also hard to tell what the enemy’s intentions are (as for the most part they seem to hang out and not mind being shot repeatedly)
Fixed the description, whoops!
Thanks for the feedback. The player movement definitely needs some work, I'll try to improve that. The enemies just wander left/right randomly and don't react to taking damage, I'll put that higher on my list of improvements to make.
Thanks for playing!
